Wowza Pro 1.5.0 Preview1 is the initial release of Wowza Pro with the following key additions (among others):
- Added support for playback of H.264/AAC media files (.f4v, .mp4, .m4a, .mov, .mp4v, .3gp, and .3g2)
- Added bi-directional support for Action Message Format 3 (AMF3)
- H.264/AAC live streaming is not supported in this Preview1. At this time there are no live H.264 encoders that support RTMP.
- Fast forward, fast rewind and slow motion playback of H.264/AAC media files is not supported. We are still determining if these features will be possible with H.264/AAC content.
